Finding

This finding looks at the relationship between parental monitoring and adolescent sexual behavior.

Compared with peers who were not closely monitored by their parents, adolescents who were closely monitored by their parents took fewer risks in sexual behavior (i.e. had only one partner and used condoms).

Sample or Data Description
Data from surveys of 7th to 12th grade students in six rural, ethnically diverse schools in a Southeastern State.
