This finding looks at the relationship between parental church attendance and children's loneliness.

Children whose fathers attended church and those whose parents both attended church frequently were less likely to report feeling sad or lonely.


Sample or Data Description
Data came from the Early Childhood Longitudinal Study-Kindergarten Class (ECLS-K) regarding parents' and teachers' reports on 16,000 kindergärtners and first-graders, beginning with the 1998-1999 school year.
