This finding looks at the relationship between family structure and adolescent sexual activity.

Adolescents living at home with two parents were 20% less likely to have ever had sexual intercourse when compared to adolescents not living at home with two parents.


Sample or Data Description
Data come from Wave I of the National Longitudinal Study of Adolescent Health (Add Health). The final sample consists of 3,028 adolescents in grades 7-12.
