This finding looks at the relationship between family structure and the likelihood of miscarriage.

Pregnant women who were not married or living with a partner were more likely to have a first-trimester miscarriage than those who were married or living with a partner.


Sample or Data Description
6,719 women, 603 women aged 18-55 years whose most recent pregnancy had ended in a first trimester miscarriage and 6116 women aged 18-55 years whose most recent pregnancy had progressed beyond 12 weeks.
