This finding looks at the relationship between religious secondary education and voting.
On average, Catholic high school graduates were 7 to 11 percent more likely to vote when they reached young adulthood compared with graduates of public high schools, after controlling for school selectivity.
Sample or Data Description
Data come from the High School and Beyond (HSB) survey conducted by the U.S. Department of Education between 1980 and 1992. The final sample contained approximately 12,000 high school students.
