| This finding looks at the relationship between teens’ church attendance and educational progress. Church attendance was measured on a scale from 0 to 3 (0 indicated “never attended” and 3 meant “once per week or more”). An increase in an adolescent's church attendance level predicted a statistically significant improvement in academic progress, a composite outcome that included a number of measures related to how well students stayed on track in school.
