This finding looks at the relationship between fathers’ marital status and psychological wellbeing.

Divorced fathers were, on average, more depressed than their married counterparts, whether or not their children resided with them.


Sample or Data Description
Data come from the National Survey of Families and Households; the analytic sample consists of 844 fathers.
